Nous sommes au début des années 70, 40 ans déjà, avec mon père, nous décidons de planter un arbre à ''La Rindaz''. Ce ne sera pas un Arolle ou un Tilleul comme le veut la tradition, ce sera une cépée de Bouleaux. Bientôt les travaux débutent et le vieux mayen de transhumance se transforme en un charmant petit mazot. We are in the early seventies, already 40 years passed. With my father we decided to plant a tree. It won't be a pine or a bass, as the tradition wants. It will be a birch tree.. As soon as the tree is planted, the renovation starts and the "mayen" of transhumance transform into a little "mazot" full of charm.

Le temps passe et au fil des ans et des nécessités, le mazot s'agrandit pour devenir un beau chalet de montagne. Time goes by and over the years and necessities, the mazot gets bigger to become a beautiful moutain chalet. 

En 2010, l'idée d'une maison d'hôtes fait son chemin. Les travaux dureront trois ans, nous voilà partis pour une nouvelle aventure. Mon fils cadet Vincent, mes amis Laurent et Michel ainsi que Raphaël en seront les artisans ''improbables''. Sans oublier les jeunes apprentis de l'ORIF et leurs maîtres d'apprentissage.  In 2010, the idea of a "maison d'hôtes" (BnB) gets real. The renovation took over three years. So we left for a new adventure. My youngest son, Vincent, my friends Laurent and Michel and Raphaël are the artist who realized this project. Without forgetting the students of l'ORIF and the mentors. 

En 2015, mon fils aîné Tim rentre de Hollande, les montagnes lui manquent. Il s'installe aux Rindes. Tout en poursuivant l'activité, il réalise le hammam et développe la table d'hôtes. In 2015, my son Tim came back from Holland, he missed the mountain view. He moved in the Chalet Les Rindes. All in the spirit to continue the activity we started. Since he is here he built the Hammam and is developing " les table d'hôtes ( the diners and breakfast ).
